home sweet home - London Festival of Architecture
For this free event Subject to_ change worked in collaboration with Broadway Malyan Architects to be part of 2008’s London Festival of Architecture. For 2 days the Ragged School was open to the public. The 9x8m canvas held 180 houses

home sweet home worked with BM architects to redesign and build new ‘one off’ typologies for residents to purchase and build in the Southwark based canvas. These included the Scottish Long House, The PV terrace, The Dutch Cubicles and The ‘C’ house (from Poland). New Business units and riverside flats as well as extremely desirable houseboats were also some of the new choices up for grabs!
Slots were set up for Residents to talk to architects about their design and help them with ideas…
