One of the many exciting aspects of Home Sweet Home is that it creates a unique experience in each new environment it is performed in.
On the “stage” we develop and create an infrastructure for a physical cardboard model urban space. This infrastructure includes a blank canvas for the village to be built up on, a set of flat pack homes, street lighting, surround sound, community buildings, etc.
The project generates excitement for creatives, urban designers, architects, sociologists, psychotherapists … and most importantly, the general public who are enabled with a ‘playful’ means of expression about how they would like to live, or even a commentary on how they live now…. allowing architects and children alike to express their imaginations"
