home sweet home - Magnetic North
June 2010 saw home sweet home make its international debut at Magnetic North Theatre Festival in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada! We took up residence in the beautiful Kitchener-Waterloo Arts gallery. The gallery held a 9m x 9m canvas with 200 plots

The Canadian response to the project was warm and creative! The town comprised of floating brothels, abattoirs, pie shops and the exclusive area of neu Berlin. All of these made for an eventful 3 days and great street party.

A special thank you goes to:
All our local Canadian volunteers including, Brittany Leite, Jessica Genick, Dave Smith, Zach Parsons and everyone else who worked so hard!

Technical Director: Rob Pell-Walpole
The team at Magnetic North: Kris Nelson, Ann Brophy, Cassandra Piroutz, Janelle Rainville and everyone else, your support was fantastic!

The team at Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery: Amy Rogers, Crystal Mowry and the rest of the team

Thanks to the British Council

Finally, thanks to Martin De Groot for all your knowledge about the town!
