Seasons came and went, compressed over a three-day period. Villagers were given the opportunity to participate in annual celebrations such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day.
A surround soundscape looped town noises and atmospheres via the Town Hall, Church, Pub and Battersea Arts Centre.
New to home sweet home was ‘Residents FM’ a local radio station, which broadcast throughout the day, delivering news, interviews, music, information and entertainment. The town’s history was documented and displayed via hourly photographs. All residents were asked to come back on the last evening for a ‘Residents meet and greet’ celebration, before taking their home home.
