home sweet home - Skirball 2010
In September 2010 we once gain packed up our flat-packs and headed across the Atlantic for our American premiere at the Skirball Cultural Center in LA. Here we staged our longest ever project, lasting 10 days.

We were housed in a beautiful gallery, which held a massive 8m x 26m canvas with 660 plots!

This ambitious show played host to the general public and schools workshops. We hosted 2 schools groups of 40 pupils age 12-15. Each group visited twice, and got the chance to not only become a resident of home sweet home but to also play some of the roles in town including radio dj’s and postmen. Alongside this we held our first ever town council meeting, where we debated the top issues in town including; the bridge to nowhere, the army presence in town, pirate radio and the oilrig disaster!

A special thank you goes to:
All our local American volunteers who worked so hard and made the show such a success!
