Susannah Conway
Studied anthropology at Goldsmiths University. Since graduating she has worked for local government and a Children’s Charity. She has considerable experience in working directly with young people, and in developing resources to support participation programmes for young people. Susannah is leading the development of Home Sweet Home educational resource materials and the planning and delivery of Home Sweet Home in schools. She currently works as a local authority Youth Council Development Officer .
Liz Conway
Liz is currently working as an independent educational consultant and trainer. Her specific field of expertise is behaviour management and Social and Emotional aspects of learning. Liz is currently contributing to the development of the home sweet home educational materials. During a teaching career spanning 35 years Liz worked in Primary, Secondary and special school contexts. She has experience in working collaboratively to develop policy and practice in a wide range of educational contexts both at grass roots level and strategic level..
Lara Haworth
Lara graduated from Goldsmiths in 2006, and has been working on Home Sweet Home since the beginning. Lara has developed specific performative elements of the piece—creating an architecture for the radio station, Residents FM, and the role of the Councillor. She has performed both of these roles in many versions of Home Sweet Home, creating a platform for participants in other venues around the world to follow. She is also a member of Landline Performance, and the European Live Arts Network. For the past two years Lara has been living and working in British Columbia, Canada, creating commissioned large-scale site-specific performance works; collaborating on shows at the Cultch and Gallery Gachet, Vancouver, and in outdoor forest spaces around B.C. As well as working on a project with Landline, she is now working on Subject to_Change’s new project, Cupid.
Peter Evans
Peter originally studied Music before taking up a career in teaching. He worked for over 25 years as a teacher of Music, English and ICT as well well as a local authority adviser. For the last 12 years he has been an education ICT consultant and has run a successful web design company.
